I did some basic DD when I first heard about it. The original post of mine has some links to visit. It is basically a clone to another case just recently where a software owner (patent) held up RIM and others and walked away with tons of money because they patented an idea without doing anything with the patent.

There is case law to support them and that I belive will be the reason they will succeed with the case and either be bought out or get paid. They just had a financial or loan so someone belives they are credit worthy to continue the fight.

IMO this is a long term hold to win large. Your money may be dead (short term) as only news will move this one. Currently it appears to be between news while the lawyers fiddle and twiddle.
