Pros:

- best deposit I've seen since Aurelians FDN -pull up the La Mascota zone and tell me you aren't looking at FDN's little sister.

- cashed up

- three drills turning

- smart money (ross beaty etc.) on board.

Cons:

- Colombia. I'm actually quite comfortable with what I've read BUT a unnamed blogger who a lot of us respect in these parts was kind enough to provide me with some DD which clearly shows this part of Colombia is not without risk.

- lots of volume and the major seller has been broker #1 Anon - something I follow for good reason.

Whether Ventana is a stock for you is something you will have to decide for yourself. I think you owe it to yourself to go through the company presentation and pull up the drill location map... blow it up really big and study the LaMascota zone. Pay attention to Hole 100 (NR March 26) which produced 57m of 8.88grams gold at the end of the hole. This the furthest west hole to date was almost at the companies staked boundary at the time. Quitely the company negotiated the land package to the west of the hole giving them more than another km of potential strike (NR April 22nd).

open along strike and at depth (getting stronger in my opinion to the south west and at depth).

1000m strike (700m drilled up so far)

50m width (done)

300m depth (shown over 100m, deep drill is now drilling)

5 grams per tonne (most of the key veins are higher)

= 6.5million ounces gold

getting to a number like this won't take long if they continue to have success with the three drills currently in use.
