Stanley´s U3O8 - Au eq. comparison
posted on Jul 05, 09 07:22PM
In the light of recent CEO comments regarding comparison of U3O8 grades to Gold equivalent grades, Raymond James gave a nice summary of the latest HAT results.
Note how the latest Canadian discovery of LSG (83.4 m @ 12.75 g/t Au) compares to HAT (assuming US$ 50/ lb U3O8 and US$ 800/ oz Au):
MWNE 09-84: 5.0 m @ 22.3 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-87: 8.0 m @ 99.4 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-117: 11.5 m @ 276.0 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-118: 4.0 m @ 40.3 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-121: 10.5 m @ 53.6 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-122: 12.0 m @ 83.1 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-125: 15.0 m @ 35.1 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-126: 3.5 m @ 183.0 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-128: 3.5 m @ 33.9 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-129: 26.0 m @ 153.0 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-130: 4.5 m @ 221.1 g/t Au eq.
MWNE 09-131: 13.5 m @ 431.1 g/t Au eq.
Even "weak" (for HAT) intercepts of 0.52% U3O8 are equivalent to 22.3 g/t Au !
I think, quite impressive grades compared to most gold discoveries I know as of late!
Finally Raymond James compares their RR tonnage estimate of 30 M lb U3O8 @ 3% to 1.9 M oz Au @ 129 g/t Au !
