We may not make much money, but we sure have a lot of fun!
It was also told that the two carriers were released ! ? That has to raise big questions the only logical answer is it's a cover up to erase traces and only US authorities would allow that on such a big event , if the Italian had taken the decision to let those two guys go on their own it would have created a bid diplomatic incidents between both countries and i can't believe the FBI and CIA would have let those guys go after such a short detention if they were fakes .
Indeed they'd be out there trying for a second time in a wiser way and US authorities would look like fool if that happened again and worst of all the impact on treasury and on the economy could be desastrous if some people were out there faking bonds and selling them at will !!! In fact it could produce a crisis worst then the actual one and crash all world economies 'cause they could probably produce other countries treasury notes or bonds whaatever the case is .
i think whoever they were they were trying to sell the papers for gold below market prices and did'nt want to impact the market in a official way for political reasons as well as to preserve the value of the rest of their holdings and to prevent a scare on bond prices and the US dollar , while hoping the gold they'd get would increase in value with time and recoup their losses on the bonds or treasury notes .
The other aspect to consider is the entitlement Italy would have on part of the seizure if the papers had been deem real , according to Italian laws the gov has the right to keep a significant percentage ( i think something like 25%as was reported in a previous post wich i can't retrace ) of the seizure as was related in previous news by Financial Times .
Once again if the papers belong to Japan it could have made quite a diplomatic fuss if Italy had seized 25% of their value .
So it was in the best interest of all to kill that story and use the mafia and Venezuela as scapegoats .
As a mater of fact so many things don't add up in that story that it points towards disinformation and that is typical of intelligence agencies with a political agenda
Regards !
