It coldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Of course his wife said all the right things after the fact. Did Hilary Clinton and other sex scandal victim political wives not do the same thing for their dirtbag spouses?

Jack Layton is a career political opportunist who would do anything to advance his own career. On top of that he lives high on the public trough in typical leftwing NDP fashion of entitlement. Him and his wife were both high income earners who used to live in co-op housing (very good deals that gets you a condo-like City owned apartment in Toronto for a fraction of the ongoing rental rates) while he was a Toronto City councillor, until someone blew the whistle on them and they moved out.

Another case in point, the coalition with the Liberals last time after he was promised the position of Vice Prime Minister. He would have sold his own mother for that perk. Thank God that deal did not happen.

If the NDP forms a coalition with the Liberals this time, look out, there goes the Canadian economy and the stock market!
