Hi thanks ebear, it's great to be back on Agoracom again.
I have to add my two cents here since I know where Burkina Faso is. It's because I have a fairly large position in Semafo ("SMF") and it's been in the news of late due to a series of military and police unrests (not for civil liberty or any of the noble causes, but over something earthly like living allowances and pays). As Bruce Willis' character in "Die Hard" used to say - "It's always about the money!" Certainly that did nothing to help the share prices of companies operate in that country such as SMF and IMG.
Are you sure our man Jack is not there leading the uprisings? That seems to be the NDP style of stirring things up but has no solution to resolve any problem whatsoever.
In the corporate world we call that type a career "concern expressor" - someone who can always count on to tell you what's wrong, but would not know a single thing about fixing that wrong. I worked with too many of those types before.
Anyway, the ARU "commorative videos" are hilarious (see the link provided by Agoracom). Especially the one that portraits Adolph Hitler as a disgruntled ARU shareholder over the meagre Kinross takeover bid. I never know that we humble ARU retails have something in common with a historical figure such as our friend Adolph. Go check it out if you haven't done so already. You all would enjoy it.
