Canada is a major energy and food producing nation. When the rest of the world is going hungry and running on empty, we'll still have enough of both to not only consume domestically, but to export. LNG terminal going in soon. Check the price of NG on international markets. Major potash, coal and uranium deposits, and gold as well. Canada has lots of gold. We just haven't dug it up yet.
