There's a Jihad coming alright, but it won't look anything like what Choudray and his ilk are predicting. The truth is that Islam contains the seeds of it's own destruction for the simple reason that it denies women their basic human rights, foremost the right to equality in all matters, spiritual and secular. This is not a matter of custom - it's embedded in the religion itself - and for that reason alone Islam will fail.

It will be something to watch - a worldwide uprising of muslim women who have finally had enough and simply won't stand for it any more. No doubt some will lose their lives in the struggle and that will just add fuel to the fire. I'd compare it to the Civil Rights movement in the USA, but it will be on a much larger scale as the population in question is so much larger than the one MLK represented. I expect to see this in my lifetime, in fact the seeds are being sown right now:

Finally, this notion that it's a woman's obligation to shield herself from the lustful thoughts of men is outright nonsense. The Creator imbued men with reason and the ability to restrain their own impulses. Any man who can't do this of his own free will isn't walking with God, no matter how many pretty verses he recites.
