(via Thenewswire.ca)

Anglo Canadian Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: URA) is pleased to announce the acquisition of 14 contiguous mineral claims covering over 600 hectares located in the southern portion of the Abitibi Greenstone belt. This property is located 15 km north of the gold discovery made by Chifton Star Resources and 42 km north-west of Rouyn-Noranda, and is readily accessible to all facilities and infrastructure. The Clifton Star discovery has drawn the Company to the Noranda area. Over the past 85 years, the Noranda region has hosted over twenty (20) VMS and gold deposits.

This option agreement allows for the company to earn a 100% interest for $20,000 and 75,000 shares immediately, $20,000 and 100,000 shares in the first year, and $25,000 and 100,000 shares in the second year. There is no work commitment requirement as part of this agreement. In addition, the company has agreed to a 2% NSR, which has a buy back option of $750,000 per 1%.

This acquisition is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
