WRT your question, I'm neither a VAN nor PIT fan (I'm barely a Leaf fan but I refuse to jump ship). As such, I can be objective and tell you I'm slowly getting disgusted with the illegal hits by all teams. I haven't specifically picked out any one team.

These kinds of illegal hits are bad for the game because we're losing too many great players to injury. The NHL needs to recognize this fact and deal with it as strongly as possible.

Many thought Goodell would change the face of the NFL game when he came down hard on helmet-to-helmet hits ... but players got the message and adapted. The game hasn't changed and star players aren't being knocked unconscious at anywhere near the clip of NHL players.

Why the NHL isn't doing the same is beyond me.
