A tragedy has occurred at the Upper Big Branch Mine in WV. This is a Massey Mine and an explosion has killed 7 miners and there are still 19 missing. As I write this at 9pm pt there seems to be no communication with the miners still underground.

Let's hope and pray the remaining miners are found safe and returned to their families and friends.

I just saw on CNN that 5 more were found dead. 10 are still missing. 9:21 pm Kevin Strickland is one of the spokespeople at the press conference.
