Watching the news last night, I heard that they are installing and had some wireless installed but it was knocked out by the force of the explosion. The question is, would Act's nodes which allows for gas monitoring been a help in preventing the explosion or given the miners time to get into shelters. This may help Act in the future as we do have the bandwidth to accept gas monitoring on our system.

Unfortunately, miners die before companies and politicians are forced to Act and stop delaying only for the bottom line.
