09:22 AM EDT, 09/15/2016 (MT Newswires) -- Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM), a Canadian gold producer, said Thursdaythat it has agreed to vote in support of a merger between Orla Mining and Pershimco.

Agnico owns 52.8 million Pershimco shares, representing approximately 18.6% outstanding equity.
