Here are some shots of a recent installation at Epic Systems in Wisconsin. In this project AirTest replaced a Honeywell wireless system that was a real pain to operate and properly control the garage.
This was a 2,500 car garage on 4 levels where they were measuring CO and NO2 utilizing LonWorks communicating sensors. In total the system is taking inputs from 109 TR2000 transmitters and 109 TR3210 NO2 sensors and provides a control signal for 8 supply fans and 8 exhaust fans. The system is also designed to interface with the EPIC building control system via a MODBUS TCIP interface. The interface to this controller is through a web based interface that can connect via the internet or via a PC plugged in at the control panel. Case study press release and video case study are being developed.

2) 8 Lonworks routers used. One router is used for each network run up to 4000 linear feet. The routers then report to the JACE controllers.

Epic is a leading provider of software for the healthcare industry. The Epic complex located in the rural outskirts of Madison Wisconsin.
Currently they have approx 6000 employees onsite and growing. The garage is located under a large open area in the center of all the buildings. Airtest should be doing a similar sized garage later this year and a data center later next year. No doubt AirTest will also be involved in future projects as they continue to expand.
