Owens started up Helix Biopharma at .10 cents and ran the company to 1.60 before he sold it. Today it trades at 1.29. That's a good track record for a person behind a venture company.
I like to think he learned from any mistakes he made along the way. I am hoping he mastered the 'promo' game. I suspect he knows more about raising money and getting players interested than we give him credit for. Helix Biopharma gave him credibility long before T36 came along.
I am a firm believer that in the case with Alda, everything is happening with a reason. The project to come up with a brand name, run it through focus groups, finalize the DIN with Health Canada, line up a distributor and get a commitment is monumental. I can understand the difficulty of pinpointing this to an exact date given all the variables Alda has been given.
The stock held up well today in a predominantly red market.
