PCQ is a good example of what I am suggesting. It's at 1.26 yesterday and the sell-off is on since noon today, all the way down to 1.08.
Granted, there is going to be profit talking, but I am suggesting if the markets were not as bad as they were today, the stock price would have probably held up better.
If Alda released news in a bad market, I would expect the same reaction, a spike followed with a quick sell-off to kill the momentum (or at least hinder the momentum).
I would never want a news release during bad market conditions - I would rather wait. Investors are fickle.
