I do try very hard to share your optimism and although the volume has been lite the sp has held at its current level, we are actually up 2 cents from 4 days ago. That has been a welcome relief from the last month. But stock prices fall for a reason or reasons and as far as aph is concerned they seem to be out of favor with the rest of the market. Yes the market conditions have been awful the tsx is down 20 percent but aph has lost almost all of its gains for a one year time frame. When I bought and held this stock I had some very high hopes for the direction the company and the sp would take. Short term it looked like a good buy but I in no way saw this correction, its length or its depth coming. I have been a holder for over a year and a half and as far as i am concerned have a sizable position. I do not expect the management to contantly put out press releases telling everyone its all okay don't worry, but it would have been nice for TO who is obviously fairly well respected in this field to have at least come forward once with some reassurance about the future of alda. I know that some will say this was done in the letter to the shareholders but i do believe that the circumstances are extrordinary considering the fall of the sp and another nr simply letting everyone know that it is still full steam ahead would have been nice. That being said still have not sold and did buy a few hundred today. Did toy with the idea briefly of taking out the seller who was sitting with 19500 shares at the ask price for the afternoon but he was bought out by some others towards the end of trading. the sp actually should be flat not up a penny the last trade was ony 500 shares and that put the price up. Hopefully the sp will continue to hold and we will see brighter days ahead.
