When the financial companies get bought out ( Merrill Lynch) or go under (Lehman Brothers) you can expect nothing short of a major sell-off in the markets.
Natural investor reaction is to follow the leads of the major institutions.
Our liitle APH is going to get rocked simply based on the fact that we have little trading volume. Most people who own APH are longs. So we know the real story behind the company and are not willing to sell. Those who are selling APH today are willing to get out at whatever SP they can sell at. Who knows maybe these people got in last week when the SP jumped up?
I, like many on this forum are long on APH. Personally I think TO has some NR's but is sitting on them until the markets calm down.
Why release a ground-breaking NR now. It won't spike the SP and it will be a complete waste.
I'm sure TO has the retail business plan and marketing intiatives in place but is waiting for the right time to release the NR.
There is alot going on within the APH boardrooms right now but I'm glad they are not releasing any NR's because it would do nothing in this continued contraction of the major markets.
Hold your shares and wait! As much as it hurts it's all we can do really...
