My opinion is that at the moment, Alda does not have the capacity to supply the Olympics and do a Canada-wide campaign. Because H1N1 appears to have the greatest stronghold on BC, it would seem fitting that Alda start with the Western Provinces just like Health Canada did with the vacine that was released yesterday.

Acklands-Grainger is a best second choice for a company that I speculate does not have the ability to supply Shoppers or Wal-Marts all across Canada. This will be especially important for companys and institutions that want bulk product and dispensing stations.

I suggested earlier that when the retail anouncement was made, the price would spike and many long-term holders that were tired of sitting on Alda would sell off. After that, it just becomes 'another hand sanitizer'. I further speculate that the Olympics will give great coverage but there is no reason the stock should jump becuase of the Olympics. The bottom line will be sales figures released in Q1 next year.

As we get closer to the Olymics in February and more people see through advertising of some sort that Alda is a supplier to the Olympic, I see a potential for Shopper's to want to get in on the action especially if H1N1 picks up in the Eastern Provinces.

I predict the another time we see major stock action in Alda will be with the trials, testing and patents associated with the fungal/vaginal products when that project is started.
