It's always good to have a balance of opinions on any forum, and this board is pretty good.
I think most shareholders are disappointed that we could not hold the .60-.70 level, even with the good news of a national retail distribution. I too feel the aggravation of being a long term shareholder and thinking that we're finally making headway in shareholder value, but apparently it is not to be.
Alda is in a much better position today than it has ever been. If it really can't use the exposure from a global H1N1 pandemic and the Olympics to aggressively forward their plans , investors really need to question the competency of management. I know Dr. Owen probably knows more that most of us when it comes to building a success business enterprise, and I'm sure he hears it all from the peanut gallery of what he "should" be doing. I say, before the angry lynch mob shows up outside their office in New Westminster, that shareholders wait and see the outcome (financials and potential distribution or sales contracts) post 2010 Olympics. As with all small cap stocks, we're speculating here and as always we don't have all the information.
We can argue about how crappy investor relations is, and how ugly and uninformative the T36 packaging, lousy marketing etc. (and the list is long and colourful, I'm sure) This of course means absolutely nothing, if T36 is literally being sold in vast quantities, a US introduction, or further big retail deals. At this point we really don't know, and to assert that T36 is only being bought by shareholders is absurd because even Alda doesn't have that information.
