Well, I visited some of the Olympic venues this past week and I was impressed at how well organized and well behaved people were. I am sure it had to do something with the overwhelming police and security presence.
I visited a bunch of pavillions and exhibitions but I only found a single T36 dispenser and that was at the Richmond Ozone, located by the skating rink.I saw no signs or advertising, samples, etc. anywhere. The good part is that I saw people actually using them, after using the skate rentals.
I went to the German Saxony Pavillion (an official Olympic venue) to watch the hockey game last night and upon entering there were 4 or 5 hand sanitizer dispensers. However, every dispenser was clearly marked that it was PURELL. This is just absurd, and I am extremely displeased. Oh, and while the hockey game was running, CTV aired "One Step" hand sanitizer.
Whatever Alda paid to be an official sponsor seemed to be a big waste of money as far as having a presence at these Olympics. If I wasn't convinced that management dropped the ball during the Olympics, I surely feel it now.
