"Allana Potash Corp. has entered into an agreement with a syndicate of agents led by Wellington West Capital Markets Inc. to sell units of the company at a price of 40 cents per unit for gross proceeds of $4-million, on a private placement basis. Each unit shall consist of one common share of the company and half of one common share purchase warrant of the company. Each whole warrant will be exercisable to purchase one common share of the company for a period of 18 months from issuance at a price of 50 cents.

The proceeds of the offering will be used to fund exploration and development efforts on the company's potash property in Ethiopia and for general working capital purposes..."
