Seriously though, it's very informative. Allana is mentioned several times. Seems the gov't officials paid Allana a visit in the Danakil.

One little passage that I found surprising (on page 82):

The government has started to build highway from the Danakil region to Djibouti

for the export of potash. Discussion with Allana Potash – Dallol indicated that this road will

require upgrading of bridge capacity to accommodate the truck size they will be using. To

overcome these constraints, Allana Potash has decided to build its own road segment to

ensure reliability of its transportation operations.

So now we are building part of the road? Hmmm ... at what cost?
