In parallel with the mandates, lenders have begun formal loan assessment preparations and a due diligence review of the Project. The group of lenders includes large multilateral and regional DFIs and ECAs from North America, Europe and Africa.

Hmmm ... North America? Could that be the EDC? Allana is EXACTLY the kind of projects they like to finance. It would make an excellent check mark on Canada - Ethiopia relations scorecard. I can see the headlines: Canadian Government Crown Corp (EDC) helps finance Canadian Potash Mining Company in Ethiopia in order to help African agriculture and food security.
