Justin, I believe Lotus like many other investors think all potash juniors are not viable now due typo the low $300-$350 potash price range we are in. Without digging into the details of the opex and IRR based on Alana's low cost one would assume this little potash junior sitting in Ethiopia is s list cause...
But... What investors will over look is the project is a triple play as they have the following;
1- ultra low opex and capex
2- mop and sop deposits of which the sop may very well be one of if not the lowest cost sop project in the world.
3 - location... Close proximity to Asianmarkets.... And sitting in the heart of an emerging new potash market that many day may rival Brazil in size in a few short years.
That's my take on what lotus was referring to. He simply doesn't know Allana stands out from the crowd IMO.
That being said it's financing that will drive the ship.
