MOSCOW Feb 19 (Reuters) - Russia may impose a duty of up to 35 percent on fertiliser exports from March 1, Interfax news agency reported on Thursday, citing an industry source and a source in the State Duma lower house of parliament.
Russia's Agriculture Ministry has been lobbying for a tax on fertiliser exports to support farmers as a slump in the rouble had pushed up interest rates and prices for imported fertilisers. (Reporting by Polina Devitt; Editing by Maria Kiselyova)
