ARGONAUT GOLD PROVIDES REMINDER TO SHAREHOLDERS: WARRANTS EXPIRE DECEMBER 31, 2012

Argonaut Gold Inc. would like to remind its warrantholders that the warrants may be exercised until 5 p.m. EST on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012.

The Argonaut Gold warrants will cease trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the close of trading day on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. Computershare Trust Company NA acts as the transfer agent for Argonaut Gold.
