TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 5, 2007) - Tribute Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TBM) is pleased to provide an update on its fall exploration activities. The program is designed primarily to test the extension of the 43-101 indicated resource estimate of 2,070,888 tonnes of 5.92% Zn and 0.75% Cu on its Arrow Zone discovery Garnet Lake Property (See Press Release dated September 27, 2007) and also to conduct additional surveys on other targets within the Confederation Lake group of properties in Northwestern Ontario.

On the Garnet Lake Property, drillholes GL-2007-57, 58 and 59, testing the western down plunge extension of the Arrow Zone on the north side of Garnet Lake, have been completed by Cyr Drilling International. Samples from all three holes have been cut and sent for assay.

The previously announced contracted second drill has commenced drilling targets to the east of the Arrow Zone and will be used for upgrading the quality and confidence of the resource in the main part of the zone. Drilling is expected to continue into December.

On other news, a borehole resistivity tomographic survey has been completed in selected holes of the Arrow Zone in order to conduct a high-resolution geophysical delineation of the area of its eastern extension. The results will be used to define the zone's most shallow extension under a swamp to be drill tested this winter.

On its Snake Falls Property, located at the eastern part of the Confederation group, a Titan 24 MT and Deep IP Survey by Quantec Geoscience has been contracted to cover the area of the Dixie 3 Zn Showing and line cutters have been contracted to prepare the grid for early December.

The Confederation Lake exploration program is under the direction of Trevor Boyd, P.Geo, Vice President Exploration, Tribute, and a qualified person (QP) for the purposes of NI 43-101. The drill core samples sent for assay follow all industry standard QA/QC protocols.

The Company currently has 75,203,437 common shares issued and outstanding.
