"It's time to make that gold shine"-I.B.B.

For me, at .06c per share in a company that has 97thou acres in ROF is an exciting opportunity. My belief is, for the microcap company’s involvement (no matter what ore is uncovered), there will be a land grab soon while the grabbing is inexpensive.

I recently talked to Brodie-Brown following the latest disappointing results in the ROF. I asked if that was it for the Sunday anomaly. He said they may go back to the Sunday Anomaly and go a hundred feet deeper. However, he said Harvey, Nemis, and a 3rdparty were always excited about other V-tem anomalies whom Harvey considers “spectacular.” He assured me they’ll be drilling them this winter. I mentioned that that was coming up soon. He said that as busy as he is, it seems like years away.

There’s so much to do before winter. "It's time to make that gold shine", Ian said of his Redlake properties. Ian stated, “We’ve been working on a few items on Red Lake now for over 6 weeks, and am having meetings on those on almost a daily basis right now.”

In addition, Ian excitedly spoke of TBM’s joint venture with HLO on the property in West Red Lake, whom TBM has a 35% interest on, “There is news coming” (referring to June NR -see below- which found 4.23, wide interval averages of 8.36 g/tone and 3.34 g/tonne silver). He said of the forthcoming news that they are in negotiation about what the next steps will be, which I assume means there’s something in the HLO NR which is worthy of considering new steps.

MY BIAS in calling Ian: to consider if TBM’s current SP is appropriate for their land holdings or a rock-bottom point that will have at least a double bagger before the end of the year. Two posts resonated recently with me. One was Glorieux’s post which said he had a 900% gain from his entry points and it’s criminal to make people afraid to invest in big money’s personal piggy bank. I don’t think he’s invested in TBM, however considering I have a 600% increase from my initial investment, he’s right. Plus I follow a rule which was recently said by Mickey Fulp regarding Noront and microcaps in general. “If you know how to spot these absolute ROCK BOTTOMS and are patient you will be rewarded….almost all juniors make a double every single year from their bottoms.”My conclusion is to increase my current holdings, due to TBM’s considerable upside, 1) it’s large land holdings in various areas of ROF, 2) Nemis, Harvey, and a third party like the V-tem targets they’re going after this winter, 3) HLO already found gold and will probably be releasing good news which TBM is 35% interest, 4) discussions almost every day about TBM’s other Redlake property can only be good news. 5) There were also other things he indicated we’d like which he couldn’t talk about right now. I’m not sure what that would be, as I think I’ve covered most of it.

Halo Reports High Grade Gold at Bridget Lake

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 3, 2010) - Lynda Bloom, President and CEO of Halo Resources Ltd. ("Halo", the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:HLO)(FRANKFURT:HRL) is pleased to announce high grade gold intersections for the diamond drill hole completed on the Tribute Minerals Corporation ("Tribute", TBM:CDNX) - Halo joint venture property, part of the West Red Lake holdings. Results of up to 68 g/t gold over 0.4 m within a 4.3 m mineralized interval were reported in siliceous dolomitic breccia, an entirely new and prospective style of mineralization. The drill hole intersection falls between two known zones of narrow quartz veins at surface that host visible gold and assay up to 161 g/t gold.

"As reported previously, Halo has been very encouraged by the wide-spread presence of gold-bearing quartz veins and was confident that they were indicative of gold mineralization hosted at depth. These new results are the first time that high-grade gold has been reported associated with sulphides rather than from quartz veins in this area. This is also the deepest hole that has ever been drilled in the prospective stratigraphy, that can be traced a couple of kilometers both east and west," says Lynda Bloom, President and CEO. "The mineralized intersection is still only approximately 250 m from surface and appears to be associated with an airborne geophysical signature that extends east-west across Bridget Lake for about 400 meters. Historically, explorers have only scratched the surface and this new style of mineralization creates an important target for Halo."

Halo has an option to earn a 65% interest in Tribute's Bridget Lake claims (see press release October 27, 2008).

Technical Highlights

Drilling in March extended a 2008 drill hole (RL08-009) beneath Bridget Lake from a depth of 307 m to 411 m. This drilling intersected mostly siliceous dolomitic breccia that is the dominant component of a thick package of chemical sediments beneath Bridget Lake.

Between depths of 391.5 m and 395.9 m several intervals contained angular pyrite clasts that assay high grade gold values, with one sample reporting 68 g/tonne over 0.41 m (see table below). Samples were not submitted for assay through the entire section and additional sampling is planned. If the worst case is assumed and the intervening samples have zero gold content, the 4.23 m wide interval averages 8.36 g/tonne gold and 3.34 g/tonne silver. True widths are unknown as the orientation of the mineralization has not been determined. The dip of the extended drill hole was measured between 33 to 45 degrees down hole.
