I think the Chinese are being underestimated in their financial might and their desire to put the trillions they have in quickly depreciating US $ to work. I would not be surprised if we get taken out by them.
I'm not so sure that Correra is all that keen to piss of the US (unlike VZ's Chavez). It would be interesting to see how the Chinese adapt to the Latin style of doing business, ie things take forever to get done.
