Looks like the bad news is real then.  Anyway I guess the question is does ARU know about this windfall tax in their negotiations with the government (prior to this news break) or they were surprised along with the rest of us?

It just strikes me as contracdictory that you are on one hand pormote yourself to be mining friendly (by busting up the NGOs - great) and then you spring a killer blow windfall tax on mining. 

What is everyone's thought on this?
