I'm 100% on side with your posting.  I've participated in some penny stock scams when the principals control all the stock & can wash trade the price to a higher level & then begin distribution.  However when dealing with a 1 billion cap. company that is subject at any time to a takeover offer your methods of influencing the price are limited to false info which could be of a positive variety (takeover) or negative such as the Soto article & so on.  You need a very large amount of real money to influence the price with legitimate day to day trading.
