Let's be honest....

 In the long run none of us (except ARU employees) really cares who buys ARU as long as we get a fair price in either cash or  stock you can sell.  If you end up with US dollars you turn it into your favorite currency or buy gold or silver or go buy the next ARU.  Hopefully on the selloff you will still have some NewARU to invest in.

Barrick sucks as a company, just call their IR department and try and get answers about their 9.5 million ounce hedge.....they are plain arrogant and claim no problems with their position.  But, they will be a bidder for ARU because of their size and need for this type of deposit.
