It drives me NUTS how the cancellation of these concessions is being handled. Concessions/Claims/Holding get cancelled every day in many jurisdictions for failure to maintain them in good standing. In Canada you have to file assessment work to prove you are working the claims and if you don't take them to lease in a specified period (e.g. you haven't been able to prove there is something economic on them) they revert back to the government. A use it or lose it policy on public land is the norm. Anybody that invests in mining knows or should know that cancellations happen all the time. You don't pay your fees to bad. Is the news worthy of the $100 million hit we took this past week? Not a chance.

If everyone on the TSX that didn't have concession cancelled put flooded the markets with news releases that they were OK then this would be over.

Now let's move on and get a mining law in place so we can start to make some headway.
