Not so funny, in a long marriage there are ups and downs, a few years ago we were going through problems and i suddenly couldn't gain access to her two trading accounts. i thought it was just a malfunction so i phoned the bank and was told i had been taken off trading authority.l I was wild, but calmer heads prevailed and i reminded her that every cent that was deposited into those accounts were put there by me and it was in her best interest to put me back on.

This was before ARU, and as luck would have it bought balanced amounts in our RRSP's and now she is extremely happy and things have worked out for the best. She doesn't really watch the monthly statements but i do keep her updated.
