Someone is up very early in Australia -- Au at $1005

For the past week gold trading has been kind of flat given that every time they bid it up somone would pound it back down at the close in England. It appears that somone has got over that fear, In Australia, Spot Gold opened up with a bounce to $1005 and is now trading at just over $1011. Looks like it will be interesting to see what happens overnight.
