What is this the Marla Fan Club?
Bottom line is that they have allowed the impression that this deal would be done by the end of March, with only a few recent statements that it might "slip into early April". Now it's crunch time and there is a delay.
The market didn't like it yesterday or today. As a former CFO of a publicly-traded company, I can tell you that the head of IR has to stay on top of not only the facts but the impressions that the market has of your company. This deal was supposed to be done by the end of March and it won't be. Yes, dealing with governments can be frustrating and delays do happen, but this has been handled in a very irresponsible manner, and I blame everyone at ARU, Marla included.
