When I spoke to Marla last week, she said she regretted they had originally talked about March then later April for the stability agreement.
She said they felt pressure to be giving out positive info.
The next major items for us she mentioned by way of news release are (this was confirmed in the financial news release):
1. A stability agreement likely in May. This date is not dependent on the May 24 mining law date and its possible the govt could live up to its date of May 24 but still not have finalized the Aurelian stability agreement.
2. The scoping study will be released in the next couple of months.
3. Updated resource calculation.
Additionally, we should have further drill results. All positive events.
The only danger with delays is what happens with POG. Right now the future for gold looks good and potential bidders may be feeling very rich based on their share prices. However, there is some risk this can change negatively. I don't expect that however.
As others have mentioned, its been a long wait for most now. What's a few more months.
Bottom line is, it will be what it will be.
Ps. I'm typing this from my blackberry in Denver. I think its cool that I can do that on my blackberry. This is first time I tried to post with it.
Have a good weekend to all.
