Personally, I dont care for the term "kick at the cat". I asked ebear to use something else. He refused but at least I addressed the concern to him directly instead of trying to have the message removed. I believe the board in general has been quite clear about its dislike of censorship except clearly where necessary.

I'm used to the rough and tumble world of usenet, so even at the extremes this place seems like a ladies garden party.  That said, I'm on the same page as Agoracom where Agoradecorum is concerned.  This is a private site, and when you're riding someone else's train, you pay attention to the conductor.  The first amendment is about free speech in public forums.  It doesn't apply here any more than in a nightclub, where if you start getting mouthy, the bouncer will ask you to leave.

BTW, I actually rather like cats.  If you want a good cat-laugh, check out www.catsthatlooklikehitler.com or look around (maybe on youtube) for an old NFB cartoon called "The Cat Came Back."

Say... is there a way to delete our own posts?  I figure after everyone's read this off topic stuff you might as well go back and delete it after say, a week?  That way anyone that comes along later doesn't have to wade through it all to get at the essential information.  I know most of my posts could stand being deleted without much loss..LOL!

Oh, and I believe if Aurelian finds more gold, the share price will go up!
