Let's assume

given that we aren't having much luck with translations in language

let's assume Correa isn't a fool

let's assume he IS in this to improve the standard of living for the common ecuadorian

let's assume he knows it's going to cost quite a bit to do this

let's assume he knows the only possibilities of large fundraising is through oil and mining

let's assume he knows that if it's done improperly, he won't make nearly as much

let's assume he knows how long it takes to start getting gold out of a mine

let's assume he knows his mandate is for 4 years and he's almost 1/3 of the way through it

let's assume he knows that ARU is a decent platform for mining and that he acknowledges the good they have done locally thru hiring and community improvements

let's assume those 400 locals really appreciate their jobs and the pay they are receiving

let's assume they would be less apreciative if sent home with no paycheque for the forseeable future

let's assume they would probably blame correa and cast for that happening to them

let's assume some 'talking out of both sides of his mouth' is expected as he is a politician and can't please everyone, ie tough talk on environment to the treehuggers, and welcoming talk to business

let's assume his common sense isn't that far off our common sense

let's assume patrick and gang have had a fast one pulled on them, maybe via Acosta/Soto types, and they were caught off guard

let's assume Patrick isn't a stupid man

let's assume he has our best interest at heart

let's assume everyone on this board is here to make a buck on this stock and wish the best for it's future

let's assume if we all work hard and dig up the relevant info, we can piece this together
