Correa stated to the country in his radio announcements that it wasn't a question if they were going to have ming but rather how they would handle it....

Acosta has been against, but then just against open pit, then open to whatever as long as enviroment is respected

Even after the vote Correa reiterates from the palace, there will be mining

I'm just thinking out loud, my opinion only...

but I can't see Correa backing down

there has to be a blow up between Acosta and Correa

and last time I checked it was Correa elected president
