We've had an unnamed top management guy from an unnamed Canadian mining company in Ecuador give us some insight ie "a lot of backtracking going on down there". Then we have Chiraboga tell us, did I say 180 days? I'm thinking maybe closer to 60-70 days. Correa has not waivered in his pro-mining statements. Otto tells us there is heavy duty speculation about returning those concessions back to the original owners of serious mining plays...sold back, taxed back, whatever. And sp far it appears his 'juice' is VERY good. Then we hear ONE of the companies state after the meeting that no one is losing their concessions. No mention of WFT in last few months. Talk of royalties, which we have been FOR all along. Getting the locals onboard by getting them involved in the mining company... Clever...very clever.... accomplishes a number of things all at once.
I'm not grabbing the pom poms...we're just looking at what we know. We're still a ways from dancing on deck...but we're getting there.
