The company whose shareholders were better than its management
"excellent point mercian, those of us who invest in precious metals are generaly contrarian thinkers by nature and are not prone to looking at the world through rose coloured lenses if someone such as barker wants to voice his opinion however misguided it may be imo why not let him have his voice? to summarily dismiss posters and have them banned before they have been given enough rope to hang themselves until truly dead is enough to make most contrarians ask the question why? and why tolerate the clownish fatman with his polar opposite opinions? there is a lot of good info on this board no doubt, but more to it than meets the eye as many are well aware."
I hardly think this board looks at Ecuador through rose coloured glasses...
I think we have gone above and beyond allowing everyone their opinion here
And certainly most of the commentary recently has been to the negative side
Nobody on this board banned barker
he left...why?
because he was caught representing himself as Kevin Barker, a known letter writer
subsequent messages were removed by Agoracom because as it turns out-he WAS a fake
I can't sign up as Raphael Correa and start telling you that this is what I have in mind for mining in Ecuador...come on...
Regarding Fatman... if you would like to ban his messages...what is the criteria? Who else is on your list? and how does one defend against being on your list? I personally let Agoracom handle that end of things. All I could do personally is email the real Barker on his website.
There are always agendas under the surface, but if you can find a better source for the Aurelian/Ecuadorian situation...please let me know.
