This quote from Correa is unnerving. Looks similar to the way the Richard Nixon framed up Watergate. Without reading too much into this, this is a very strange way of stating this: "If I had ......then I will resign....". Why even make that statement or frame it up that way? Why didn't he just falt out say "I did not have a relation." Period. Not good. Thoughts?

He's always threatening to resign. This is what, the 4th or 5th time now? I wouldn't read too much into it.

I wouldn't lend much credence to the Farc computer story either. It's way too convenient. INTERPOL didn't verify the content of the laptop, just that it hadn't been altered. They also mentioned that it hadn't been handled according to proper investigative norms, which I assume means chain of custody. So, whose laptop is it?

Pretty robust laptop too. Camp gets cluster bombed from the air, nearly everyone is killed yet the laptop survives? Must have been an Apple.

This thing smells of Niger yellowcake. What's next? Correa has weapons of mass destruction hidden in his garage? Ecuadorean gunboats fire on a US spyship?

This is what happens when your top people are tied up in Iraq and Afganistan. You have to use your second teir and hope for the best Like that fake coup against Chavez. Weak.
