QUITO, Jun 09, 2008 (Xinhua via COMTEX News Network) -- Ecuador is soon to open a commercial representation office in Iran, head of the mission Stephenson Bravo said Monday.
"Next Friday Ecuador will discuss with the Iranian government the opening of a trade representation of Quito in Iran," said Bravo.
The business liaison office will bring Ecuador 200 million dollars in the first three years, he said.
Collecting information on opportunities for Ecuadorian products in the Iranian market will be one of his top priorities, said Bravo, who has worked with the World Bank and the Ecuadorian Ministry of Industry.
The establishment will also facilitate business trips by Iranian investors to Ecuador, he said.
