Good post skylane.. at long last an article by Soto which doesn't contain the words "leftist president"... seems from reading it that the resignation could be caused by one of two things.. maybe both.

1.. Stress caused by trying to rush things through.

2.. A basic disagreement with Correa on how much to give away to the miners.

One thing is certain.. this resignation can only be a good thing for Ecuador and of course for us investors.

I'm just waiting now for Soto to resign.
