How do you boil a frog? If you drop it into boiling water it will jump right out. But if you put it into tepid water and raise the heat slowly, it'll stay put and get boiled. Just like many investors. But because today's market frogs have advanced degrees, they plot the temperature trend and if it leads to boiling, they can jump out early.
Besides being a good way to boil a frog the Japanese do the same with little tiny fish and a block of Tofu....as the water gets hotter the fish bury themselves in the Tofu block.....then the delicacy is taken out and sliced up with the tiny fish embedded in the Tofu !! Who Cares??...only the Frog and the tiny fish..
Your point is even greater during the summer doldrums in that Junior Precious Metals stocks are very fickle .....
