Portovelo, canton miner par excellence, is a land of beautiful women who marched on Saturday night at the gateway of the National Mining Fair to elect the queen of the natural resources that are hiding among its capricious geography.

The event attracted 11 contestants, all of them deserving of the coveted Queen of the scepter of Mining for its special beauty and grace exhibited in their parades in swimsuits and evening.
