Unfortunately the poster makes a good point.

how many buyout offers have gone up 300-400 % from the initial start?

I don't recall any in that order of magnitude and most seem to be an additional 50-75% - which would get us in that 12-15 range.

If anyone could provide some recent history to prove these numbers wrong I would be very grateful.

Just trying to stick to reality as disappointing as that may be.
