I had to give up my Canadian stock account back when Mcdermid St Lawrence merged with Macloud ( something like that)...Canadian brokerages do not want American accounts( or can't)..It has been about 10 years and maybe things have changed but I don't think I can open a Canadian Stock Account as an American....
